Dark Æther is an allegorical speculative fiction, which takes place in the very distant future. Humankind had achieved an unthinkable level of technological wonder, and spectacle. They were an empire on the brink of utopia, spanning the furthest reaches of the galaxy. Then Blindfall happened, and the fringe words were cut off from the central systems for countless centuries.
